"The Armenian Church" - Leica M2 and CV Nokton 50/1.1 on Kodak Tri-X. All rights reserved.
This is one of the few views of the Armenian Church that I enjoy. Between the proximity of the church to the bus stop and Hill Street and the trees in the way, it is difficult to capture it in its entirety without other subjects vying for attention. This angle, however, is an exception.
Exposure was guessed, which is not a difficulty given the Sunny f/16 Rule, and it turned out almost exactly as I envisioned. The only thing I would improve on is probably the addition of a yellow or orange filter to darken the skies a little and separate the building from the sky a bit more discretely, and that's a bit of a nitpick, since there is distinct separation.
Into the second half of the project, and I'm still enjoying it every step of the way. More to come!
