This was made because I was bored waiting for a cab outside The Pigeonhole, and wouldn't have seen it had I not sat down to enjoy some unnecessary drama unfolding on the road (involving a lot of frustrated drivers, lousy parking skills, a large truck, and one jackass of a van driver). 

The shadow of a rather prickly (aren't they all) cactus was cast almost perfectly on a light-coloured column. I remembered this being a rather slow shutter speed, so I made two exposures just to be sure. Both came out fine, but this one had the tones I liked, along with the framing; I don't like cropping, and I like it even less when it comes to film.
