From the "you've gotta be kidding me" dept

A Sydney, Australia jury acquitted a man of all rape charges last Friday, reaching the verdict because the woman was dressed in skinny jeans at the time of the attack. My translation for the article, written in Mandarin, is that the jury believes it is impossible for the attacker to remove those jeans without consent and cooperation from the woman.

A juror even asked how it was possible how the accused was able to remove those jeans, adding he "does not believe it is possible without help from the woman". This was enough to acquit the accused rapist.

I don't have anything good to say about this, except that this sounds like a really, really stupid reason to acquit. In fact calling to stupid would be an affront to stupid people.
