Porn as sex education
Monday, May 17, 2010 at 9:50AM Cindy Gallop takes aim at the conventions that hardcore pornography projects and takes root in the minds of men who watch them as the only sex education they get, and says that these "conventional wisdoms" are not necessarily true. Be warned, the following TED video contains NSFW explicit sexual language, and I would recommend that you listen to it with headphones, and in the privacy of your home.
Just remember this every time you have reservations about providing neutral, science-based sex education to our children in school, and also refuse to educate your children. They will get their education somewhere. Why not educate them yourself, or support programmes that actually help them learn?
