Faulty analogy

Miss Tan Lee Hwang doesn't seem to understand that education and employment are two very different beasts, and drawing that line to equate the two is fallacious.

The same applies to the job market. It is a free market and we cannot expect employers to give priority to those from junior colleges or polytechnics. Employers have the right to employ the best candidate.

The difference here, Miss Tan, is that employers pay to employ the best candidate, while students pay to go to university. To draw that analogy more accurately, the employer is the student, not the university. Which totally throws her argument out the window.
