#FollowFriday Ver. 3 - Photography Edition

Another Friday rolls around, and so here is another #FollowFriday post. For this week, the focus is on the photographers I follow on Twitter. It goes without saying that they possess skills that I can only hope to attain one day, and even then I know I probably won't reach that level. On with the list then!

First up, the man who taught me a lot about photography when I first started out, and continues to be a generous friend and co-worker, @leejiing. He's been playing with cameras since he was a teen, and he never hesitated to share invaluable experience as an instructor and photog with newbies like me. The man has a big heart, and a big appetite, and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't progress as quickly without his guidance.

The only guy to hold both Nikon and Hasselblad Masters titles, @chasejarvis is another one of those generous souls who shares his expertise with his huge following. He wins awards as effortlessly as we drink water, and has a Facebook group named "Chase Jarvis takes better pictures with his iPhone than I can with a Hasselblad" in his honour. Plus, he loves wearing Allstars without laces.

Since I'm a strobist, it would be borderline criminal to not name David Hobby, aka @strobist, in this list. He's the guy who started it all, and I'm among thousands who're hooked. The man quite literally showed me the light, and I've been playing with flashes ever since. There is also no way to read his blog and not laugh.

And then there's @JoeMcNallyPhoto, who is one of the craziest, funniest, and most talented photographers around. He parodies Chase Jarvis, conducts Nikon CLS workshops (I forgive him), and constantly refers to himself on lighting diagrams as "numnuts". And he draws those diagrams on a bound napkin notebook. Badass.

Back on these shores, there's @wahliaodotcom. He's one busy shooter, but never lets that get in the way of being nice and cheery on Twitter. He's also a foodie who never stops posting photos of what he eats, just to taunt people who can't eat them now.

Lastly, my buddy @inrsoul, who is also a local pro and fellow strobist. He always manages to be enthusiastic about his photography, and conversations with him are always enjoyable. Also, a fan of the #bumfondle. No complaints there.

Now hurry up and go follow them on Twitter.
